Pool and Terraza

Tropical climate in Guanacaste runs within a very broad range. This area is drier than others and affords a bit less insect life, but the sun can be relentless. At Casa Patricia, all conditions are perfectly tolerated with shade and a pool. The perfect activity for midday in this region is hammock time.

Bring a bottle of water, a bit of light reading and scout out one of several locations we've geared up for an easy tropical swing. By the way, that bottle of water drawn from the tap comes from our well ... the deepest well in the area ... and is regularly tested for purity.

The Terraza was designed for hammock time and entertainment. The roof design allows anything that even resembles a breeze to caress your skin. The low roofline allows just the right amount of tropical light relative to view exposure for eye pleasing panoramas all day long. A full bath and shower on the terraza means you could stay up there all day if you wished!!! Even September and October -typically the wettest time of the wet season- are enjoyable under the cover of the roof in this Great Room.
